With Champion’s League action in full swing, we thought that it would be a great idea to review the ball that they’re using in that very tournament. And thanks to our friends at Adidas, we have that opportunity! Before we even get into the review, we’d just like to say that it is an absolutely fantastic ball and we’re incredibly pleased to have the opportunity to use it. And now for the review!
We recently received Reusch Magno Deluxe M1 Ortho gloves from our friends over at Reusch USA. We had the opportunity to test them, and we really like what we saw – they are pretty incredible gloves. We recruited our friend and goalie, Peter, to test these gloves out, so this review is written by him. Enjoy!
We recently got an Adidas Trofeo Training Jacket to test from SoccerPro.com. We’d like to extend our thanks to them for sending us this great piece of clothing – it’s a great addition to anybody’s gearbag.
There has been a lot of buzz over the past few month’s about Adidas’ super-light F50 Adizero cleats. Adidas was kind enough to send us a few pairs to test out, and after the testing, we can definitely confirm the positive buzz. We have absolutely loved the Adizeros as we’ve tested them out over the past few weeks. In our opinion, they have an excellent balance between weight, cost, and all their other attributes. But you’ll hear more about our opinion right now.
Every four years, in the months preceding the World Cup Adidas have released a new ball. In 2006 the Teamgeist shocked the world with its thermally bonded panels which completely rid it of stitching. After some initial outcry, this ball is now regarded as one of the most succesful and intuitive balls ever. Now for the 2010 World Cup and in many leagues for the 10-11 season Adidas have released the Jabulani.
Hot Shot Gels? What are those? They’re only some of the most innovative and simple accessories that have come onto the soccer field in the past few years. There’s not a whole lot of movement in the soccer accessories field, but Hot Shot Gels have broken that trend.
You may remember a month or two ago, we published a review of the innovative Concave PT+ cleats. These cleats were incredible enough as is, but Concave Sports has managed to improve them with their newest cleats. Concave Sports was generous enough to send us their newest pair of cleats, the Concave PT+ Classic cleats for a thorough review, and we’re very pleased with them.
I know we’ve been a bit slow getting reviews up recently, so I decided to do a quick post to let you know what’s coming up. I’m very excited for these reviews!
Puma recently released new cleats, called Powercats, or PWR-C cleats. They’ve been overshadowed a bit by new releases from other companies, but they certainly don’t deserve this! We found that they were excellent cleats. Puma was kind enough to send a couple pairs over to us for testing and reviewing. We love these cleats, and without further ado, here’s our review of the Puma Powercat cleats!
