The Puma v1.06 FG are very lite and comfortable. Made for strikers to beat defenders to the ball, this cleat is what one needs in order to speed past players.

See Puma v1.06 FG and other cleats at great prices at SoccerFanatic.com - The Ultimate Soccer Store.

artificial turf will rip any cleat apart if you do not take care of them by brushig out the little black pellets with a pipe cleaner or old toothbrush. I have these cleats ad they have lasted me two seasons so far and I have play artificial turf pitches almost every other game.

One problem the v1.06 had was the front of the cleat was prone to ripping especially on artificial turf. Puma solved this problem with the v1.08's by reinforcing the most vulnerable areas of the cleat with microfiber. This does indeed ad a little weight but they are still very light.

The v1.06 is in fact lighter than the v1.08, and has laces on the side of the shoe for a larger strike zone. other than that the differences are mainly just the color scheme and deciding which color way you like best. However both are superb cleats that are used by the pros today.

I was wondering which cleat is better, the v1.08 or the .06. In this you say its lighter than the .08 so im kinda confused which one to get. By the way great review and these cleats look sick.
