Hi! I appreciated this article because my son also has wide feet... I ordered him the moleon kelme cleats that you recommended in your article in 10.5, but they were never sent... Now the shipper is offering what they say is a better shoe, the TRX star.. Is this, in fact, a better shoe? Or are they just saying so? I really liked the other ones also because the team's colors are blue and white, and the paw was great for the pumas... The substitute ones are black and gray... But mostly I'd like them to fit.. Any opinions on the Kelme star TRX5? Thanks for your help:)

Hi! This is a wonderful article! My almost 8 yr old son has WIDE feet and Is on his 4th pair of Mizunos (currently, Ignitus) because his feet keep growing! Nike and Adidas youth cleats are too narrow. Mizunos are the widest available locally. He rarely complains about injuries and I've never heard him say anything about his cleats but I have a feeling he curls his toes inside his cleats (or something!) because some of his toenails are blackened. They look abused and half dead. But when I ask him, he says his feet and cleats are fine. What should I do? We have very little selection of soccer cleats in the Philippines. I'd order online but really need advice on WIDE youth cleats! THANKS!

Hi

I need W-I-D-E cleats for my son with men's size 12.5 feet. Kelme makes 12 or 13, not 12.5. Nike T90 goes up to size 12.

Any advice?

Thanks

Found another pair of proper wide boots to add to the list. Diadora Kobra LT BX. I can put them on without feeling jammed, which means they will work with my overly large feet. Additionally, they are a beautiful blue/red/white. Umbro SX Valor is another really good, wide boot.

Thanks for the input, Zach! I've found the Laser IIIs to be perfect for me, but I assume that the inconsistency has something to do with the shape of each person's foot. Some people may be wider in different places than others, which could cause problems.

Thanks for the comment!
